Software QA Lead

Our organization is seeking a dynamic and personable individual to fill the newly created position of Software QA Lead in our Matawan, NJ location.

Responsibilities

• Work with the development team to test, document, control and track the components to be assembled for each code release
• Manage the release and installation of new versions
• Work with our clients through their acceptance testing
• Produce and maintain release documentation, detailing what is being delivered in each code release and where it has been delivered
• Understand and translate functional requirements/specifications into working test plans and/or test cases
• Produce and maintain user and administration manuals
• Define a build management/release management process which must be adhered to, and ensure compliance to these processes
• Manage the creation of automated development builds and installations
• Coordinate and track defect reports to closure
• Maintain the defect tracking system

Essential Skills

• Experience in Web UI and Usability Testing
• Experience writing Automated Browser Tests, NUnit a plus
• Knowledge of .NET and C# and the deployment of these technologies
• Experience using a defect tracking system
• Excellent problem solving and strong communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organization skills
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter
• Fluent in English
• Willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done

Desirable Skills

• Strong knowledge of SQL and MS SQL Server
• Experience using build tools such as CruiseControl and nAnt
• Experience using Source Control tools such as Visual Source Safe
• Experience and proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio)
• Strong Engineering or Mathematical Background a plus
• Experience with Graphic and UI Design a plus
